A family garage, built on service
Set up in 2000 by a father and son partnership, and still driven by the same simple idea.
Cumbria Car Centre was set up in the year 2000 by a father and son partnership. With over 50 years in the motor trade between them, Doug and Graham set out to give customers the best possible service, at a price that was affordable.
From the start they kitted the garage out with the latest diagnostic equipment and tyre equipment, so they could look after all kinds of cars properly.
When Doug passed away, Graham carried on, and that did not stop him. He took the idea to the next level and installed a state-of-the-art MOT testing bay, building a garage ready for the next century and beyond.
Today the garage is run by proprietor Graham Latimer from Unit 16 on the Haws View Industrial Estate in Barrow-in-Furness.

The business becomes Cumbria Car Centre Limited.
